Hu Zongxian Anti-Wokou Memorial Hall
The Hu Zongxian Anti-Wokou Memorial Hall stands on the former site of Shaobao Mansion and was established in memory of Hu Zongxian, a renowned Ming Dynasty commander who fought against Japanese pirates. The hall combines images, texts, artifacts, and multimedia displays to present the illustrious military campaigns led by Hu Zongxian as commander-in-chief of the seven southeastern provinces. Hu Zongxian commanded Qi Jiguang and other famed generals in valiant battles. It was also during his tenure that the Diaoyu Islands first appeared on Chinese coastal defense maps.

Attraction Overview
The Hu Zongxian Anti-Wa Memorial Museum is located at the former site of Shaobao Mansion and was built for Hu Zongxian, an anti-Wa general in the Ming Dynasty. The museum combines graphic and textual objects with film and television materials to reproduce the hehe war efforts of its governor in the military affairs of the seven southeastern provinces and the pacification of Wa. Hu Zongxian led Qi Jiguang and other famous people to fight with blood, and the Diaoyu Island was first marked on the Chinese coastal defense map.
