Xiangtang (Sacrificial Hall)
The Xiangtang is the central hall of Hu's Ancestral Hall, measuring seven bays wide and five bays deep, with 48 columns and 154 beams supporting its grand structure. It served as the venue for the Hu clan's ancestral rites and seasonal ceremonies. A raised platform within the hall distinguished the hierarchical order of participants. Over a hundred lotus-carved panels adorn the hall — the lotus (he) symbolizing harmony (he) — expressing the hope for "harmony throughout the hall and prosperity for generations to come." The wood carving here is truly exceptional.

Attraction Overview
Xiangtang is the main building of Hu's ancestral hall, which is seven wide and five deep, and is supported by 48 columns and 154 beams. This is the core place for the elders of the Hu clan to open the shrine and for the spring and autumn sacrifices of the clansmen. The ground is set up with "Mingtang Heavy Platform" to be respected and inferior. The hundred lotus skirts in the hall are full of carvings, and they are "harmonious" and "harmonious" with "Lotus", which means "full of harmony and harmony, Ben Guzhi flourishing", and the wood carving skills are outstanding.
